Senior Executives from CET, China, Visit CETA and VRT Systems

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

In June 2012, CETA hosted three senior executives from CET, China - Simon Ki, the Business Development Manager for International Business, Ning Liu, the Vice President of Software and Shuai (Madison) Jiang, the Product Manager for the Energy Efficiency Management module.

The main purpose of their visit was to fine tune the localisation and feature set of the next release of the PecStar software, version 3.5, due to be released in September 2012.

CETA, together with their Brisbane based systems integrator, VRT Systems, were privileged to see that all recommendations made by VRT's Senior Engineer, Patrick Coffey, to CET during his visit to China in September last year, have been fully implemented, and that all the suggestions that VRT made during CET's current visit are highly likely to be implemented in this or future releases. The CET/CETA/VRT collaboration is proving to be extremely beneficial to all parties, and ultimately to all Australian users of CET products.

Our CET visitors also had the opportunity to inspect their first Australian PecStar installation at John Paul College, and commented that it falls into the "flagship" category. Of course they also took a little time off to acquaint themselves with some of our local wildlife - well at least kangaroos and koalas.
